Local real estate investor looking for a hard-working, self-motivated, and honest maintenance man to add to their team. We own 200+ apartments in St Louis area. We are family owned & operated.
POSITION: Part-time or Full Time Maintenance Technician (Preferably EPA Certified)
SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday
COMPENSATION: $20 - $23/Hr DOE + semi-annual bonuses depending on the performance
WHAT WE NEED:
Completes work orders in a timely manner based on priority
Make Ready / Turning apartments in between resident occupancy
Meet with city Inspectors for occupancy inspections
Painting/Staining both the interior and exterior of the complex
Heating, Ventilation, and Air Condition needs
Maintaining property grounds, landscaping, grass cutting
Preventative maintenance
Maintain and keep a clean and organized maintenance shop and other work areas
Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required
Skill Required:
3+ years’ experience in property maintenance
HVAC Certification preferred
EPA License preferred
Dry walling, basic mudding/taping, tile work, flooring, painting and basic carpentry
Working knowledge of plumbing including sweating copper pipe
Working knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches, and light fixtures
Working knowledge to repair and/or diagnosis of water heaters, appliances including refrigerators, stoves, and garbage disposal
Good time management
Must be able to work independently with little supervision
Must have a valid driver's license and personal vehicle insurance
MUST be able to pass Drug Screening & Background check
