I can’t keep up with all the work to be done maintaining the acreage at my home in Warrenton and would like help a few days a week.
This is a request for day labor only. Only when I have work that needs to be done. I would like to keep your phone number and call you when there is work. I have someone lined up to do the work I have planned for this week (except for the lawn mowing), but would like to keep looking for someone better suited to the position. The guys I have lined up are 40 miles away and I’m really looking for someone much closer.
Must be willing to work 6 to 8 hour days, have your own transportation, be willing to work hard.
Must be comfortable with using power tools, yard tools, and gasoline powered machines (UTV, ATV, drills, saws, etc….)
Most of the time I’ll work with you, sometimes you will work alone. If you have a pair of work gloves, bring them.
Paid breaks and lunch (which will be provided, FREE lunch, you will be having what I’m having).
I will also be looking for someone to mow the lawn with my riding lawnmower, but that will pay only $10/hour. So let me know if you are interested in that. I have not found anyone who will mow at $10/hour yet, so if you are willing to do that, please email right away. I would like to get someone to come ASAP, if you can’t come until Monday 30 Sep, that would be ok but I will need an email from you ASAP (I will check email several times before starting to mow it myself in the afternoon on Sunday Sep 29).
Parents: if you have capable kids who would like to make some extra spending cash, they can ride my lawnmower for $10/hour with your permission and I can probably keep them busy mowing for a full 8 hour day, weekly or every other week. If they don’t drive, you will need to provide transportation to and from my home.
