We are looking for a friendly, detail oriented, organized professional to serve as our Building Manager in a creative environment. It is important that our Building Manager is courteous, helpful and professional in all interactions. This position has a significant role in the operations of DaySpring. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to follow standard procedures.
Work with Events Coordinator on space needs for events
Room setups
Able to understand and use Google Calendar
Set up and restore space for each event in building
Table and chair setup for events
Move equipment as needed (screens, A/V equip.)
Maintain upkeep of the building.
Replace light bulbs
Small paint touch ups and repairs
Minor carpentry skills helpful
Respond to emergencies in building.
Leaking water, electrical problems, broken fixtures, etc.
Keep the building shop/storage areas organized and clean
Work with vendors to maintain safety lights/equipment
Approx. 15 hours per week
