Position: Physical Therapist Salary: 65K+ based on experience, full benefit package
Reports to: President & CEO Classification: FULL-TIME
General Function:
Responsible for the delivery of aquatic and/or land therapy and adaptive aquatic services. This includes evaluation, treatment and consultation with clients. Employee will be responsible for the appropriate documentation as well as communication with family and support staff. Employee will ensure that the needs of each participant are met with dignity and respect while maintaining a safe environment. Employee will model the organizational values of MOTION, FUN, CONVENIENCE, SAFETY, TEAMWORK and RESPECT. A full time position and includes evenings and possible weekend hours. Employee will work with members of the multi-disciplinary team to develop programs, conduct seminars, mentor students and assure the outcome of each participant’s goals.
Requirements for the position:
Must have a degree and current license in Physical Therapy
Should have experience in aquatics, preferably in aquatic instruction for various ages
Certification in CPR and First Aid is required, with life guarding certification preferred, lifeguarding will be provided for the right candidate. Have a strong desire to work with people with disabilities from youth to seniors. Have strong communication and organizational skills. Have a high standard of reliability and teamwork
