We live in a modest 1500 ft single story home in St. Charles and are offering a 5 day a week, 5 hour a day position for an experienced, reliable, trustworthy female in-home health care provider for my 61-year-old wife. Position may expand to full time as needed. This position includes housekeeping responsibilities throughout our home to include laundry and trips to dry cleaners. Her personal care to include managing and administering medication, meal preparation, assist with feeding, hair washing, assistance with bathing, and oral care, etc. My wife is very modest and her most personal bathing and care will only be done by her husband. Experience working with Traumatic Head Injuries and acute PTSD patient(s) important. My wife is also legally blind, aphasic, paraplegic and epileptic. Care to include running errands, keeping house clean and orderly. Thurs shift drives our van to take us to church and back home for Bible study in Wentzville. Mileage for errands done in your personal car compensated. Wife is NOT bed-bound or house bound. Must be non-smoker, comfortable with pets. This role includes some lifting and organization of household materials. Pay is weekly. $25/hour. Days and Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday are 10AM - 3PM; Thursday is 3PM - 8PM (takes us to bible study in Wentzville and return to home in St Charles). Everything in our home is based on my wife's ability to tolerate change. She is smart, funny, wonderful and amazing and we are looking for this arrangement to be a great "fit" for all parties. We have 2 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and there may be times when they'll need to be taken to groomers. It can often have busy days but we've told it's a great job.
