This is for my 93-year-old dad and my sister who has MS.
My dad's legs are not strong, so he needs spotting on transfer. He is mentally with it. Must have good sense of humor and be lighthearted because an elderly man can get grouchy.
My sister is in wheelchair but can dress, feed herself etc. She is happy go lucky with a good sense of humor. She needs assistance on transfer, but no lifting.
We have a service that we use that pays whomever we chose as caregivers. They provide vetting of our caregivers, and the pay is
$15 hourly. We have 11.5 hours available daily, 7 days per week. Part of the hours are for my dad and the other are for my sister.
Light housekeeping, prepare meals, run an errand or 2, offer good conversation.
