MID LEVEL Care. Patient is ambulatory. No needles. No lifts. However, does use urinal and requires 24x7 care.
SCHEDULE: Every OTHER Weekend.
Total 72 hours.
Three (3) back-to-back 24-hour Live in shifts = 72 hours.
5pm Friday to 5pm Monday every OTHER Weekend.
PAY: Fixed fee for Three (3)back-to-back 24-hour Live-In shifts (total 72 hours). This job is a FLAT FEE per for the THREE-day shift.
LOCATION: Mid St Louis County, just off Hwy64/40 at Brentwood Blvd
PRIVATE Duty Caregiver who has PATIENCE.
Seeking care for our loved one in his 50s. Patient requires 24 x 7 care. He needs reminders and a little help to walk and use a regular toilet. Caregiver must try to encourage frequent trips to the toilet and also rely on Depends. He sleeps a lot. Qualities we seek are PATIENCE, kindness. Duties are companion care, light housekeeping, simple meals. Experience with ability to manage/ignore/soothe repetitive questions from a patient who has a brain injury or memory deficit is highly preferred. This patient repeats himself with 3-4 same questions. If you can quietly answer "Yes!" each time, this is the job for you. If repeated questions, such as "what time is it ?" will get on your nerves, this is probably not the job for you.
