Looking for a housekeeper — once a week for 6-8 hours — to clean our newly converted loft style 2 bedroom, 2+ bathroom home.
Duties include vacuuming carpet and throw rugs, sweeping and mopping hardwood and tile floors, dusting, wiping down appliances, tables, and countertops, cleaning out the refrigerators and freezers, dusting and cleaning nicknacks, lamps, etc
This is a position for an experienced person who loves cleaning — not someone who has never cleaned homes of others. Like with everything else in life, experience matters. A lot. And someone without experience can take hours figuring out where to do — that’s not what we’re looking for.
Light laundry (two sets of oversized washer/dryer on second floor) including changing bedding and towels and clothes (no ironing) and other household cleaning as needed.
We are two professional adults (plus an occasional adult-aged professional athlete son when he’s in town) who travel a bunch and are not home often. So the biggest mess is probably the dust from it being a 100+ year old building with exposed brick walls throughout. Unfortunately we don’t have time to clean and whatnot so we need the right person to come aboard.
Need to have clean driver license and reliable transportation to run errands (like grocery shopping, dry cleaners, FedEx or UPS store, etc.) and take car to the car wash.
Bonus points if you can cook.
Pay is $25/hr. cash/cashapp/venmo…whatever you’d like.
