We are looking for a motivated Line Cook to prepare and cook food in a fast-paced neighborhood convenience store with a limited menu. The duties are limited to preparation of a few basic items and normally involve operating large-volume single-purpose cooking equipment.
Tasks Include:
· Order and take delivery of supplies.
· Cook the exact number of items ordered by each customer, working on several different orders simultaneously.
· Prepare specialty foods, such as wings, pizzas, fish, sandwiches, etc., following specific methods that usually require short preparation time.
· Operate large-volume cooking equipment, such as grills, deep-fat fryers, or griddles.
· Wash, cut, and prepare foods designated for cooking.
The ideal candidate should be a team player with a guest first attitude, have a passion for great food and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
· 2 Years minimum experience in a kitchen environment as a Line Cook
· Conduct inventory of materials, supplies, or equipment
· Cook food.
· Prepare food for cooking or serving.
· Clean food preparation areas, facilities, or equipment
Requirements:
· High School Diploma or equivalent required
· 2 + years as a Line Cook
· SafeFood Certification a plus
