Position: General Manager (GM)

Location: Sasha’s on Shaw Wine Bar

Compensation: Competitive Base Salary, based on experience

Store Hours

Bar: Monday - Saturday: 11 am - 1:30 am, Sunday: 11 am - 12 am

Kitchen: Monday - Saturday: 11 am - 1 am, Sunday: 11 am - 12 am

Job Description & amp; Duties: Core Five Job Duties are as follows, but not limited to:

-Human Resources-

Maintain all employee employment and health records, and act as liaison with Company Manager for Payroll and Benefits requirements.

Execute all hiring, and act as onboarding and training coordinator. Training will be delegated as possible to lead bartenders and sommeliers.

Create a weekly schedule, and maintain its database and changes via Homebase App.

Perform bi-weekly payroll, coordinating with Ownership and Company Manager as needed.

-Store Purchasing-

Coordinating and overseeing all Beverage buying and budget

Coordinating and overseeing all non-consumable purchases and budgets, including but not limited to: Dry goods, service wares, operational needs, seasonal needs, event needs.

Coordinating and monitoring all food purchases with Kitchen Manager and/or Executive Chef

Collecting all store invoices and receipts, and insuring all purchases are accounted for the Manager Purchasing Log

Forecasting and planning “Weekly Budget” based on previous years’ sales and upcoming weather for: Beverage and Food spending with Director of Operations, Executive Chef, and Assistant Buyers.

-Daily Operations-

Coordinate all Operational needs and strategy with Assistant General Manager (AGM), Daytime Manager, Floor Manager, Kitchen Manager, Executive Chef, Programs Coordinator, Director of Operations, and Ownership as needed, and delicate where appropriate and when possible.

Ensure Opening and Closing procedures are being completed in a satisfactory manner.

Oversee and ensure scheduled employees consistently arrive in a timely fashion, are dressed per the dress code, are well trained, and are set up for success from both managers and peers.

Oversee and ensure sections are clean, tidy, and are staffed based on business needs.

-Daily Operations (Cont.)-

Oversee and ensure shift change is efficient, and monies are recorded properly. Ensure the new shift has all needs met before 5pm: Money, Groceries, Incidentals, Etc.

Hold daily staff meetings, highlighting new products, low stock items, sales competition items, weather and business run-down, and any upcoming notable dates or events.

Oversee and ensure all Event or Promotional needs are in place for special events, large parties, or key reservations.

Oversee and manage scheduled Manager-on-Duty (MOD) shifts, coordinating with Host and Floor Manager/AGM.

Oversee and ensure shift close is efficient, and monies are recorded properly. This role is primarily that of the closer, but the

GM is responsible for the upkeep and daily records for Payroll purposes, and will oversee this process.

-Events & amp; Reservations-

Coordinate all reservations (parties of 8 or more.)

Coordinate and oversee all Private Events, including but not limited to: large birthday parties, work happy hours, retirement parties, etc.

Coordinate and Work alongside Programs Coordinator for successful Brand Events and Wine Dinners.

-Store Cleanliness and Upkeep-

Maintain a ServeSafe Manager certificate, and ensure Kitchen Manager and AGM also maintain their respective ServeSafe certification.

Maintain an “A” Rating with the Health Department, coordinating with Ownership and Executive Chef

Oversee all weekly cleaning projects and random deep clean projects.

Coordinate and manage a quarterly team meeting and whole-house deep clean day.

Coordinate with Ownership, Company Repair Person and Maintenance Vendors as needed for all mechanicals, including but not limited to: Kitchen Equipment, Bar Equipment, Security, HVAC, POS System needs, WiFi and Phone needs, Water and Sewer systems, Trash Pick-up, and coordinate Seasonal City Permits.
