Duties
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper food handling and safety practices.
Engage with customers, providing excellent service while taking drink orders and making recommendations.
Operate POS systems such as Square for order processing and cash handling.
Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies as needed to ensure the bar is well-stocked.
Handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations for sales.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during events or banquets.
Ensure compliance with health regulations regarding food safety and alcohol service.
Experience
Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, nightclub, or catering environment is preferred.
Familiarity with Square is a plus.
Strong time management skills to efficiently handle busy shifts.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere for guests.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations within the food industry.
Experience in retail math, cash handling, and basic math skills necessary for order processing.
Background in brewing or cocktail crafting is advantageous.
