You may view our sustainability report located athttp://sustainability.doerun.com/.The Doe Run Company is currently seeking a Tax Coordinator who would be responsible for calculation and management of taxes (excise, franchise, income, insurance premiums, property, sales, use) payable by The Doe Run Company. This position is located at our Corporate Office in St. Louis, MO.We Offer:

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.

CPA or other tax-related certification.

Minimum 5 years experience calculating tax provisions and maintaining deferred tax assets, deferred tax liability, and effective rate reconciliations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Experience with tax research and tax depreciation software.

Analyzing data with attention to detail.

Commitment to continuous learning.

The ability to summarize important tax rules in simple concise understandable language.

Organize and plan work so that all deadlines are timely met. The ability to begin tasks early to allow for unplanned project requests is required to allow for the submission of quality work by prescribed due dates.

Responsibilities:

Calculation of federal and state and local income tax provisions. This includes the preparation of tax reporting packages and the preparation of annual provisions to return reconciliation.

Prepare personal and real property tax estimates for inclusion in the profit plan for all Missouri business units. Compilation of all business personal property tax returns for all Missouri business units. Sort, review, and enter data for real property tax parcels and prepare check requests for payment of personal and real property tax for all Missouri business units.

Preparation of Missouri monthly sales and quarterly use tax provisions primarily based upon data supplied by various business units. Track changes in Missouri sales and use tax rates. Research Missouri sales and use tax law for application to various purchases of personal property.

Perform work on various tax projects including revision of Percentage Depletion and Tax Provision Models. Review the accuracy of deferred tax asset and deferred tax liability amounts and prepare for a recalculation of these amounts if there is a change in the federal Sub S and Sub C tax rates.

Forecasting of effective federal, state, and local tax rates. Review changes in federal and Missouri income tax, sales, and use tax laws. Advise business unit personnel of any significant changes to Federal or Missouri income, sales, or use tax laws.

Other duties as assigned.
