Senior Windows Server Administrator

Make a difference.As a Senior Windows Server Administrator, you will maintain highly technical inter-network of computing systems, ensure high level of systems performance and availability, and execute system and subsystem startups, shutdowns, backups, and dumps. You will investigate and respond to system-generated alerts, and identify and resolve service-level objective compliance problems.Responsibilities:

Develop methods of monitoring system performance, reliability, and security.

Develop standardized troubleshooting methodologies that consistently result in timely resolution of systems issues.

Plan, develop, and lead systems related projects.

Discover and evaluate new cost effective technologies.

Validate interoperability between systems and platforms.

Develop and maintain technical documentation and standards

Mentor and support junior members of staff.

What you bring to the table:

Minimum 10 years of experience in System Administration; at least 5 years of experience in system design and implementation

4 year degree in Computer Science or related field required; advanced degree preferred

Technical Certification preferred

Proficient in:

Expertise in Windows Server

Networking technologies including but not limited to TCP/IP and LAN/WAN

Advanced programming and scripting methodologies

Directory service

Applicable hardware and software application

Various technologies: Internet, e-mail, storage, backup, and printing

Enterprise Systems management

Systems configuration, monitoring, and reporting

Terraform Basics: Familiarity with the basic concepts and workflow of Terraform, including modules, state management, and configuration generation1.

Additional Skills:

Planning and organizational skills with the ability to function independently with minimal supervision

Troubleshooting skills

Ability to effectively interact and communicate with all organizational levels

Ability to work in a team environment

Adaptable with new technology

Some travel required

Work shift and hours:

Full-time, hourly, non-exempt

Monday - Friday remote

8 hour shift worked between the hours of 6a-6p

Will be on call for any emergency support

Paid time-off, including 3+ weeks of vacation, sick time, and volunteer time.

Compensation Details:

The expected pay rate for this position is starting at $100,000 annually depending on experience.
