About The Role:As Facility Manager, you will oversee all maintenance and repair activities within our manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment and facilities are properly maintained to minimize downtime and optimize operational efficiency. Your role will involve managing a team of maintenance technicians, Leads, Supervisors, Scheduler, a maintenance administrator, and outside contractors. Production experience and logistics experience is a definite, plus. You will coordinate repair schedules, both with your team and outside contractors, and implement preventive maintenance programs to prolong the lifespan of our assets.Responsibilities:Team Leadership and Management:Recruit, train, and supervise a team of maintenance technicians.Provide coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to team members.Foster a culture of safety, professionalism, and accountability within the maintenance department.Maintenance Planning and Scheduling:Develop and maintain a comprehensive maintenance schedule for all equipment and facilities.Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize disruptions to production and operations.Prioritize maintenance tasks based on urgency, importance, and available resources.Utilize our CMMS system for all documentation.Preventative Maintenance Program:Design and implement preventive maintenance programs to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.Conduct regular inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with maintenance standards and regulations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize preventive maintenance schedules and procedures.Experience working with, and on, flow wrappers, extrusion machines, packaging equipment, conveyors, carton machines, scales, presses, and other types of industrial packaging and liquid machines.Repair Management:Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and malfunctions to minimize downtime.Coordinate repair activities, including troubleshooting, parts procurement, and vendor management.Implement effective repair strategies to restore equipment functionality in a timely and cost-effective manner.Budgeting and Capex:Develop and manage the maintenance budget, including forecasting expenses and allocating resources efficiently.Identify opportunities for cost savings through process improvements, and capex projects.Write small minor capex approval requests.Monitor costs per asset through our CMMS system to identify improvements.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities to develop downtime tracking performance across all value streams.Maintain an accurate spare parts inventory with associated costs.Continue to build out our CMMS system.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field, preferred.7+ years of progressive experience with maintenance or plant engineering, preferably in a CPG environment.In-depth knowledge of maintenance best practices, techniques, and tools.Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other relevant software applications.Flexibility to work non-standard hours and respond to maintenance emergencies as needed.The ability to lead and participate in root cause problem-solving.In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and safety standards.1st shift: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (hours may vary due to production and maintenance responsibilities)Monday thru Friday (weekend work as projects require)Previous Maintenance Manager experience in an industrial setting is required.Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $110,000.00 per yearEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledTo read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to https://www.adecco.com/en-us/candidate-privacyThe Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable:
