Role: Cobol DeveloperMode: OnsiteLocation: St Louis, MO RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide full life cycle development with COBOLUnderstand coding standards and implement them within code being developedAbility to troubleshoot problems and provide solutionsAbility to communicate with the users to determine problems or design requirementsAbility to work individually or on a team to complete programming projects in a timely mannerAbility to document changes and follow the Systems Development Life Cycle process independentlyOther duties as assigned by the Manager of Application Development. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:Experience in COBOL programming, and programming in a mainframe environmentKnowledge of : COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICSStrong communication skills with the ability to communicate with both the business community and the technical communityStrong analytical skills, self-motivation, and attention to detailAbility to work with APIs to/from source systems EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:High School diploma or equivalentBS or BA in Computer Science or related field   Regards, ManojDerex Technologies INCContact : 973-834-5005 Ext 206
