Job title: Character Mascot Performer
Job duties: Perform as mascot at public and private appearances, i.e. birthday parties, parades and special events e.g. charity, sponsor and corporate events.
Provide high-energy entertainment during events through playing games, dance, and prop use.
Interact with guests, Create dance routines, playing games, and other forms of mascot-related entertainment, crowd engagement and guest interactions.
Responsible for mascot costume operations including care, cleaning, basic maintenance etc.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Must be available to work flexible hours on short notice, some nights, and some weekends.
Due to costume restrictions, candidates must be at least 5 feet 8 inches tall but no more than 6 feet 4 inches tall.
People friendly and outgoing individual.
Works well with children and other staff members at many events.
Ideal candidate should be in good physical condition, highly energetic, and athletic.
This position requires employees to have good vision, frequent use of hands, ability to hear, stand, walk, run and perform in extreme hot, cold or inclement weather while dressed in mascot costumes.
Outgoing and creative personality with a willingness and desire to have fun.
