Experienced, reliable, responsible housekeeper for upscale bed-and-breakfast near downtown. About 15 to 18 hours from 11am - 2pm 5 or 6 days per week, with some flexibility of days/hours. Additional hours will be available some weeks, but candidate must be available to routinely work Saturday and Sunday hours. Duties include general cleaning of bathrooms, kitchen, floors; laundry; making beds; ironing; dusting; and other miscellaneous duties as needed. Candidate must be physically able to climb stairs, carry up to 25 pounds, and have a well-groomed appearance and pleasant demeanor. Occasional interaction with clientele is required. Honesty and reliability are mandatory. Non-smokers preferred. On-the-job training will be offered, but prior housekeeping experience with references is a plus. Pay starts at $10 per hour, with opportunity for raises commensurate with experience, performance, and seniority.
