What would I be doing?The Restaurant Buspersonis responsible for assisting the service team inconsistently providing their guests with exceptionalfood, superlative service, elegant décor and exquisite presentations. Every detail thatsurrounds the experience is attended tothe Guest. The Restaurant Busperson is part of the service team that strictly adheres to the Forbes/AAA Five-Star standards throughcleaning of dining areas, tables and server areas; setting tables with dishes, napkins, silverware, glassware and condiments.Responsibilities(These functions are intended as a general illustration of the work performed in this job classification and are not all inclusive for this position)
Provide clean china, silverware and glassware upon request from guests.
Sets up tables with dishes, linen, flatware, etc.
Attends to guest’s needs/requests, i.e., refilling beverages, condiments.
Is attentive to the needs of guests in a polite and helpful way.
Assists wait staff with tray service as needed.
Ability to carry and stock all necessary items and lift up to 20.
Ability to move effectively and efficiently throughout the areas.
Ability to stand throughout an eight-hour shift.
Ability to communicate effectively with guests and all levels of team member.
What are we looking for?(Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis)The skills and abilities necessary to effectively perform within this classification are typically acquired through 6 months of on-the-job training or related experience.
