· Starting pay from $18+ per hour based on experience, skills, and abilities. Overtime pays after 8 hours daily and 40 hours weekly plus 8 paid holidays annually.
· We offer on the job training. No prior experience is required, however mechanical skills or experience in heavy vehicle and equipment maintenance is preferred.

Position Description: Maintenance Technician
Assist in keeping all plant equipment maintained and operational. This involves having a working knowledge or ability to learn the hydraulic and mechanical aspects of construction equipment, semi-trucks and trailers.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
· Standard repair and maintenance activities on heavy vehicles and equipment (i.e. forklifts, semi-trucks, front-end loaders, plant infrastructure, etc.)
· Work with other maintenance employees as assigned to ensure all maintenance responsibilities are completed.
· Communicate with Maintenance Foreman to make sure parts and supplies needed are procured in a timely manner.
· Work with all departments to make sure equipment required for daily operations is functional
· Must follow all safety practices and policies.
Job Requirements and Preferences:
· Should have a basic knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical aspects of equipment.
· Able to read and write fluently in English preferred.
· Must have organizational abilities.
· Communication and interpersonal skills required, including required documentation of repairs.
· Must be willing to learn and follow assignments and instructions.
Working Conditions:
Must be able to stand and walk while working for intermittent periods of time. Must be able to work in an outdoor production environment where PPE equipment is required with exposure to varying weather conditions.
Physical requirements:
Able to respond to visual and audio safety warning devices and instructions from others. Must be able to climb up and down stairs and ladders and to be able to climb up and down off of raised platforms of up to four feet on an intermittent basis. May lift from 20 lbs. up to 100 lbs. intermittently.
Expected Hours of Work:
Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. but may vary according to production schedule or season. Occasional early, evening, or Saturday work maybe required as well as overtime.
Personal Situation:
Must be able to commute to both the Springfield and/or Ozark plants reliably for work. Must be able to work extended hours when required per workload.
Timely and good attendance is required.
