Position Title: Expeditor
Wage: $18-$19/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday
QPS Employment Group is hiring an Expeditor for a company in Springfield, MO. This is an associate to hire opportunity.
Expeditor Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Work with buyers and schedulers to expedite products and ensure the flow of product through the work centers in an effective manner
- Support all purchasing, manufacturing, and aftermarket functions to include efforts on PPV reduction, pricing, system updates, contacting vendors, expediting product, and SAP updates
- Support scheduler functions to include efforts on flow of product through work centers, cycle counting, defective material tag, past due investigations, material tracking, production orders and packets, BOM reviews, and use of SAP, SOP meetings
Expeditor Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret Bill of Materials and Engineering controlled documents
- Ability to identify and solve problems
- 1-2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
- SAP experience a plus
- Lift/carry up to 40lbs occasionally
- Stand/walk for long periods of time
- Ability to work with hand tools, screws, and gauges
