C-Street CID Coordinator
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The Commercial Street Community Improvement District (C-Street CID) is seeking a highly motivated candidate to support the CID Board and lead key initiatives that strengthen and promote the Commercial Street Community Improvement District. This position will provide administrative and technical support for the Commercial Street CID Board—focusing on implementation of communications, project management, and marketing efforts.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Administrative Support
Support the CID Board by preparing and maintaining official records, public postings, and documentation required by law
Attend all CID Board and CID Committee meetings
Take minutes at all meetings
Publicly post minutes once approved
Prepare and distribute Board documents at all meetings
Ensure local businesses are compliant with CID requirements
Maintain district map of all CID owned street assets
Maintain CID calendar as it relates to street events, meetings, and due dates on publications
Provide additional support as needed
2. Communications and Marketing
Write and produce content for external communications and social media
Ensure consistent messaging among all publications
Oversee functions of Facebook and Instagram (and other platforms)
Oversee posting of Ads for Facebook, Instagram, etc.
Implement strategies in compliance with Advertising Committee guidelines
Ensure contracts for print publications are in place and content is delivered on time
Issue Press Releases and Communications to Stakeholders
Maintain the central CID email account. Answer, followup, and forward messages as needed.
Be willing to use any communication platforms the CID may want to add to their portfolio
Implement other Advertising Committee initiatives (i.e. Art in Window displays, etc.)
Communicate with contracted content creators as needed
3. Project Management
Solicit quoting and contracting of potential partners for all CID projects
Track projects to ensure that work is satisfactorily completed
Make approved purchases as directed
Effectively direct the work of assigned personnel
Organize volunteer events (i.e. annual Mulch Madness event, etc.)
Oversee salt distribution in winter months
Coordinate with City departments as needed for district maintenance
Provide additional support as needed
4. Website Management
General Maintenance
Post all upcoming events
Keep news updates current
Update the business directory regularly
Maintain public records archive
Monitor analytics
5. Security
Oversee two security camera systems
Monitor systems when needed to ensure operation
Communicate with stakeholders and law enforcement when footage is required
REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
Excellent organizational skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Efficiency with basic productivity software and cloud based platforms, such as Office Suite, Google Services, Canva, etc
Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, and Meta Business Suite
Familiarity with Wordpress and/or basic website editing applications
Willingness to Review and Understand: CID Ordinance, CID Bylaws, Missouri CID Law, Sunshine Law, Robert’s Rules, C-Street TIF Fund, C-Street Design Guidelines, C-Street Zoning Laws, Forward SGF Comprehensive Plan—particularly the Commercial Street Plan
POSITION DETAILS:
Pay: $25+ per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Hours: Part Time; up to 20 hours per week
