Provide protection to the employees of the General Council from threats and harassment.
Patrol the buildings and surrounding property owed by the General Council and protect from vandalism and theft.
Insure that the doors and windows of the buildings owed by General Council are secure from unwanted entry.
Patrol the parking areas owned by the General Council and issue citations to those individuals committing violations.
Protec the vehicles and equipment owned by the General Council from theft and vandalism.
Escort those employees to and from their vehicle on the parking lot.
Assist with special events.
Assist employees and visitors if they have problems with their vehicles while on the property or any other needs they may have.
Maintain a daily shift log of all activities
Operate and monitor the video surveillance system that the General Council has installed around the building and property
Confront suspicious individuals on the property and handle the situation properly.
Serve as back up to Mailing for picking up the mail at the post office in the mornings
Responding to alarm call in a timely manner and handle the situation properly.
Make the bank runs for Central Mail.
Maintain equipment used while performing daily duties(security vehicles radios, ect)
Attend and actively participate in training activities and sessions
Requires consistent walking and standing on various hard and soft surfaces including stairs and occasional heavy lifting up and including 70lbs.
Requires occasional overtime
Strict adherence to the time and attendance policies of the NLRC.
