The Risk Management Lead will initiate a Risk Management Framework and facilitate all aspect of the Risk Management Process. The Risk Management Lead will act as the primary liaison and owner for the clients risk boards; working in parallel with the Client, Client Relationship Manager, technical project leads, software developers, engineers, and other Stakeholders to capture and assess new and emerging risks. Risks could include technical and non-technical aspects such as software performance, resource priorities, schedule delays, customer satisfaction, cross-service provider integration, lack of IT resources or cloud computing space, software licensing problemsDuties include:Implement aRisk ManagementFrameworkManaging the creation, tracking, and closure of program risksAssessing and analyzing program risksProposing risk mitigation strategies or closely coordinating mitigation strategies with the appropriate stakeholdersKeeping detailed records of all program risks, updating status of all risks on a frequent and regular basis, and providing reports to leadership and clients about those risksCommunicate program/project risks and status in a concise, accurate, and professional mannerProvides risk related briefings at different forumsRequired Qualities:The right candidate will be a closer someone who will stay on top of all program and project risks, take ownership of the entire process, and chase down answers and solutions until risks are successfully addressed or closed.We are looking for a self-starter, a team-player, an excellent communicator, a detail-oriented person, and someone who is an expert at gathering and understanding data. The right candidate does not need to have a hands on technical background, but they should be adept in understanding jargon related to the software development lifecycle,DevSecOps, cloud computing, and basic IT platforms and tools. For example, the successful candidate does not need to know how to write software code, but should be able to understand what the software developers are talking about when they describe their project risks or challenges.
