Duties: Provide administrative support that includes but is not limited to answering phones and attending to visitors. Receive and transcribe incident reports. Manage the Public Safety Department database. Review nightly police detail logs and assign costs for service. Coordinate the transmittal of incident reports. Assist in the preparation of eviction cases. Assist in the preparation of grant applications and reports to grantors. Assist in the preparation of various reports. Support the development, scheduling, and delivery of Public Safety Department outreach and education events. Other administrative and clerical duties assigned by the supervisor. High school diploma required; Associates Degree preferred in criminal justice or a related field. One year of office experience required. Familiarity with law enforcement agencies and protocols for obtaining reports and records. Experience using Microsoft office Suite. Experience with data base management. Strong organizational, customer service, and problem-solving skills. Ability to respond professionally and courteously in a fast-paced environment. Dependable work habits.
