RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce is looking for a Network Engineer for a contract opportunity in Springfield, MO.
Day to Day Responsibilities: The Network Engineer will design, support, install, and maintain local area network, wide area network, and wireless network components Work on and maintain hardware components, including firewalls, load balancers, routers, switches and access points Troubleshoot network connectivity issues Perform project work to update or replace network equipment The Network Engineer will configure or upgrade network components Complete assigned incident management tasks Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of positionREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering; Related work experience and completed higher education of at least 4 years Experienced and skilled in managing wireless backend infrastructure engineering and support at an Enterprise level Experienced and skilled in managing Firewall infrastructure engineering and support at an Enterprise level Preferred experience with Aruba Clearpass for Network Segmentation May be required to lift up to 20 lbs., i.e. server, network equipment Willing to travel up to 20% as needed Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulationsKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
