Job DescriptionOracle University Community Administrator Oracle University is looking for an experienced Community Administrator to lead our efforts to grow a new online learner community. The Community Administrator will be responsible for executing the community strategy and roadmap while tending to the day-to-day community operations and administration. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be key to achieve the goals set for this initiative. If you are someone who's both creative and can think big to help drive the growth of our community, then this may be the role for you.What you will do:

Develop and maintain community-related internal process documentation and best practices for Oracle University.

Perform site maintenance and group administration including community member provisioning/trouble-shooting, moderator training, reporting, and working with our platform team on functionality within our community.

Identify themes, problems, or opportunities in the community and set up a process to share with Oracle University stakeholders to act upon.

Create regular community reports helping the team understand the best ways to engage with our learner community and provide value to our customers and partners.

Use and analyze data to drive insights and translate these insights into growing and improving the community.

Determine KPIs, monitor performance, and optimize community content and engagement to achieve community strategy goals.

Recruit, motivate and inspire internal OU team members to become active contributors.

Provide ongoing facilitation to connect and guide community members to create a vibrant and engaging community.

Represent the voice of the community, bringing community feedback to internal stakeholders for ongoing improvement and enhancements.

Stay at the forefront of industry trends to benchmark, understand, and create a best-in-class community.

ResponsibilitiesWhat you should have:

Experience in the day-to-day management of community programs including administration, measurement, moderation, and maintenance.

A demonstrated understanding of the features and functionality of online forums, how they work, and what makes them useful

Experience using advanced features of a community platform such as Higher Logic, InSided, Vanilla, or Salesforce Community

Must be a creative, self-starter who can run projects end-to-end, without micromanagement.

Strong project management and operations management skills

Excellent communication skills

3-5 years of community management experience

Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Four years adult education experience (as teacher or curriculum developer). Seven years technical or professional experience using Oracle products or related software. Strong SQL and PL/SQL knowledge and experience. Knowledge of XML, Java, and J2EE technologies. Experience with Oracle18c or higher Database administration.
