At our core, we’re a company that believes we can always create a better way.The Associate Creative Director (ACD) manages all creative ideation, strategy, and execution for client projects and is responsible for the quality and contents of all creative deliverables produced by the Quad team. The ACD determines a creative direction, executes creative work, pitches work to the client, manages client feedback, anddelivers final creative work. The ACD works in full collaboration with the Project Manager to determine project scope, scheduling, and to stay on task per the client’s request.The client, Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s Brand Creative team, oversees all major seasonal campaigns along with hunting, apparel, and recreation categories with their portfolio of brands.Responsibilities:

Must exemplify a 5-tool creative performer: Creative (thinker, doer, leader), Collaborative (internally/externally), Conceptual (a passion for the big idea), Client Facing (endeared to client and needs), Growth Cultured (is culture forward and looks for avenues for growth)

Must embrace the primary role of leading creative output within client groups and manage the development of final projects that communicate the organization’s marketing objectives to the consumer or associates

Attends client turnover meeting to gather critical information and participate in strategizing by making recommendations for the creative functions of the projects to meet the client’s intended goals to support the strategic campaigns

Assures timely communication with all parties of project directions and design of the projects, ensuring all creative parties involved are equipped with what they need for the project goal

Must be aware of graphic and advertising trends and how to apply them to client work

Will supervise art directors, graphic designers, and copywriters as needed

Proposes creative concept and media strategies for new projects and presents those ideas/concepts to clients to gain approval

Ensures our high quality of creative and design is upheld by maintaining high standards for themselves and others on the team

Assist in finding efficiencies for the department through continuous improvement tactics

Must have a strong ability to think strategically and manage multiple priorities, anticipate demands, coordinate stringent deadlines, and properly estimate time for work

Manage the creative caliber and brand consistency for the account

Build campaign and brand guidelines that communicate art direction and graphic standards to the client’s internal production teams

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or Advertising

8+ years of experience in a creative capacity with previous roles as an Art Director, Associate Creative Director or similar agency background is highly desired

Ability to speak, read, and write in the English language

Good working knowledge of Mac operating systems

Expert knowledge of the Adobe suite

3-5 years’ experience leading others

Ability to demonstrate competency in building campaigns from start to finish that consistently, and creatively, communicate brand marketing through various media and consumer touchpoints in a portfolio

Ability to critique for accuracy and project alignment

Knowledge of printing, prepress, and digital output

General knowledge of advertising, marketing, and media tactics

Experience in developing video concepts for social and broadcast

Knowledge of POS and store signage tactics

Knowledge of technical solutions and troubleshooting techniques

Experience interacting with marketing and branding divisions in large companies

Expert familiarity with visual design process and visual design principles

Preferred: Experience in the outdoor industry and/or has a passion for the outdoors
