Hi, I run a small local delivery company in Springfield. We have 5 full time drivers and several part-time drivers as well. We deliver for many companies all over Springfield and the surrounding areas.
I am looking for someone to help on a part-time 10-99 basis keeping track of my bookkeeping with quickbooks desktop, depositing checks, doing payroll, checking fuel receipts, invoicing customers and reconciling the books every month. I'm okay with training the right person that is teachable and can catch on fairly quickly. I think altogether this would be about 3-4 hours a week maybe more. I'm sure someone could do things more efficiently than I do. Most of the work would need to be done in my office with the current setup. It might take more time at first while training, then less as we both got in a flow of things.
The ideal person would already have some office experience but any of this could be taught. You could use this for supplemental cash on the side. I could work around your schedule as needed. Willing to negotiate on the pay. If I'm able to be freed up to grow the business, this might turn into something more. Let me know what questions you have.
