Our client in the logistics industry is seeking a 2nd Shift Shipping Material Handler to join their team in Sikeston, MO. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the Shipping department supporting supervisors and/or managers. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, problem-solving skills, and be a team player with a can-do attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: 2nd Shift Shipping Material HandlerLocation: Sikeston, MOPay Range: $18.75 per hourWhat's the Job?
Efficiently sort, scan, stage, and wrap merchandise
Check merchandise and ensure the product is loaded and checked in the proper delivery sequence by customer stop code
Operate power equipment including but not limited to pallet rider/walkie (both double and single), forklift (both electric and gas), utility vehicle, and hand pallet jack
Read truck loading forecast summary and set up a truck run by truck load forecast summary
Identify and sort by customer stop code, operate a hand-held scanner, and stack pallets appropriately to avoid customer service issues
