Hi Hope you are doing good Role : Scrum Master with RTE (Release Train Engineer) Duration: Long Term Work Location: St. Louis, MO (Remote) Candidates to expect travel Job Description As the Scrum Master/RTE of the print platform product, the candidate will be responsible for:
- The project manager/scrum-master will lead the development scrum team ensuring that tasks are allocated appropriately to developers, all schedule constraints are met, all roadblocks are effectively addressed and progress is effectively communicated to their management.
- Incorporating SAFe Agile principles and lead the Program Increment planning for small to medium initiatives involving couple of small teams
- Work closely with Product to finalize the program backlog and clear any cross-team dependencies that could impact the Program Increment
- Manage Scrum of Scrums to steer the teams for successful delivery
- Participate in daily stand-ups with scrum team
- Lead Sprint retrospectives within a scrum team and PI retrospective for the release train
- Provide agile process improvements and coach our engineering team to be as efficient as possible
- Understand and communicate priorities of the business
- Drive accountability for all projects under your management - removing barriers for the teams implementing them
- Communicate and track the project plan to cross-functional teams, ensuring its overall success
- Improve, manage, and grow the agile process
- Track and monitor the movement of projects and effectively communicate the status to stakeholders within the business Skill Set
- Requires a bachelor's degree and 6+ experience in the field or in a related area. Masters degree is highly desirable
- 3-5 years of real experience with agile project management
- Great communication skills - verbal and written
- A solid understanding of agile software development - in particular SAFe, scrum, kanban, or lean
- Demonstrate strong problem analysis and problem-solving skills
- Possess strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Flexibility - we work in a unique, fast-paced industry where it's important to be responsive and agile to internal and external changes Experience with JIRA administration a plus Software development background a plus
