Description We seek an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will manage and oversee various financial processes, ensure accuracy, and contribute to the organization's overall financial health.Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies.

Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.

Monitor and report on budget variances, providing insights and recommendations.

General Ledger Management:

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.

Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

Supervise the accounts payable and receivable functions.

Review and approve invoices, ensuring proper coding and documentation.

Audit and Compliance:

Coordinate and support external audits.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Financial Analysis:

Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

Provide insights to support strategic decision-making.

Cash Flow Management:

Monitor cash flow and liquidity, recommending strategies for improvement.

Manage banking relationships and transactions.

Process Improvement:

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes.

Team Leadership:

Supervise, mentor, and develop junior accounting staff.

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is a plus.

Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial reporting.

Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
