As a Contents Technician, you will work with our Fire Restoration Team to restore our customers' contents in our cleaning facility. Your primary responsibilities will include cleaning and deodorizing contents with specialized equipment, techniques, and solutions to restore them to pre-loss condition. You will also assist with the inventory of contents, preparing contents for storage, packing customers' contents, content manipulation/vaulting, completion of productivity tracking paperwork, and daily facility maintenance responsibilities. Clean and deodorize contentsthat were affected by soot, water, mold, or other damageusing specialized equipment, supplies, and techniques
Ensure quality work product and minimal damages while consistently attaining established productivity goals
Utilize inventory system to track boxed contents and hard items including unloading, cleaning, deodorization, and storage processes
Partner with team members on non-cleanable, damages, and opportunities for process improvement
Adhere to policies and procedures regarding remediation, as well as, EPA, OSHA, and local requirements regarding safety and hazardous materials handling
Communicate issues/concerns in a proactive and timely manner
Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to lift 25-50lbs
Ability to complete the pre-employment process to include background check and drug screening
Ability to work a 4-hour or 8-hour shift from 7:30AM- 4PM
