If these words resonate with you, we should talk.Job OverviewPosition Schedule: Full-TimeThe Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) area is seeking a highly skilled and highly motivated Analyst II to serve as a Shared Services SFO (senior financial officer) within the firm's functional area FP&A Team. FP&A's vision is to be the "financial advisor" to the firm.We are responsible for enabling firm and functional area decision making, providing insightful and action oriented financial reporting and analysis, evolving financial planning processes, and applying best practices and new perspectives to solve complex problems in support of our shared services functions (divisions).This role is part of a team that supports annual and ad hoc firm and functional area expense planning, implements and executes driver-based forecasting, and collaborates across the firm to support strategies to achieve short and long-term objectives. The individual in this role will be responsible for supporting several different functional areas which have a combined annual operating budget of approximately $100M - $300M.We are looking for a self-starter who has demonstrated the ability to partner with the business, to deepen their understanding of how their business strategies impact the firm's financial results, to provide financial and economic support to the decision-making process, and to champion financial stewardship.What does success look like in this role? A successful associate in this role will have built relationships, established trust, earned a seat at the table with senior leadership, become a valued partner in evaluating the economic impact of new or changing business strategies, and delivers new insights to enable leadership to optimize how the function utilizes firm resources (expense optimization).What You'll Do:
Develop an internal network of relationships across Finance and supported functions to act as a trusted partner for stakeholders to rely on.
Advanced analysis skills, forecasting/outlooking, and complex modeling. Ability to understand and identify opportunities to apply different types of statistics and advanced analytical concepts.
Develop high impact analysis that facilitates the transformation of complex data/information into actionable insights and recommendations.
Inform and educate business areas as to the financial impact of decisions, as well as recommending an optimal or preferred solution to influence strategic direction.
Develop divisional/functional and Firm-level measurements to create awareness of and accountability for results.
Prepare customized management-level reports and dashboards in support of the Firm's initiatives or programs.
Summarize complex information and concepts and clearly communicate up to Senior Management
Verbal and written presentation of analysis, as well as presentation of firm financial information and analytical insights to senior Firm leaders. Educate firm leaders on analytical concepts and best practices.
Develop and manage business relationships with Finance associates, project team members and senior leaders across the organization. Participate in and lead cross-functional teams responsible for implementing projects in support of divisional and firm-wide business objectives

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
4+ years of relevant work experience, including prior experience in a Financial Planning & Analysis function.
Demonstrated ability to develop financial/economic models using a driver-based methodology.
Proven ability to work with stakeholders, including senior leadership, providing analytical guidance to directly influence business decisions.
Excellent ability to analyze problems and recommend solutions for a broad spectrum of business improvement opportunities in a clear and concise manner.
Capability to connect the dots to ensure processes are integrated.
Experience operating in ambiguous situations, creating process enhancements that address short term needs while moving us closer to a longer-term vision
Identify trends and present recommendations to Senior Leadership in order to influence decision making
Ability to plan and organize efficiently and effectively
Sound ability to collaborate well with associates and leadership throughout the firm, including external vendors.
Exceptional written and verbal communication
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required, including demonstrated ability to utilize pivot tables, advanced charting, advanced formulas, and conditional formatting.
What Could Set You Apart:
Experience with SQL, Tableau, Power BI or other data visualization tools would be considered a plus.
Working knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials, OneStream or another financial planning tool is also a plus.
Advanced Degree (MBA / MSF) / Comparable Certifications (CFA, CPA, etc.) would also be considered a plus.
