DESCRIPTIONWe are looking for a talented Engine Workshop Technician to join our Distribution business in St.Louis,MO.You will make an impact in the following ways:

Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop

Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools

Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles

Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies

Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products

Maintain own tools

RESPONSIBILITIESIn order to be successful in this role you will need the following:

Proficient knowledge in troubleshooting Cummins electrical and aftertreatment using Cummins Insite.

Proficient work experience in replacing internal components (head, pistons, liners, etc.).

Embrace the Cummins values and use them daily.

Self-starter with a positive attitude that contributes to the team.

QUALIFICATIONSEducation, Licenses, Certifications:Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)Vocational diploma from relevant technical institutionLocally valid driving permit (Preferred)This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.Experience:Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine productsThis position is subject to Federal Transit Administration random and pre-employment drug testing requirements. This roll will be subject to on-going random drug and alcohol testing.

A current valid license is required for this role

Must be 18 years old with 2 years driving experience

This role requires a 5-year motor vehicle report, free from major violations

"Nice to Have:

A CDL may be required to obtain upon hire

Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older"
