Based in Saint Louis, Missouri, this Controller position will be a short-term contract / temporary engagement. Assemble evidence and qualitative discussion of monthly financial results across global programs to support SOX controls

Obtain a thorough understanding of essential financial results and movements across programs, then summarize and discuss them with key business partners

Become knowledgeable in key financial results and movements across programs to summarize and discuss with key business partners

Collaborate with the Treasury to deliver cash flow forecasts in a timely manner

Review and monitor controls to ensure they are designed and operating effectively in partnership with compliance

Continuous reviewing of actual spend against budget, as well as directing actions needed for any expected shortfalls

Collaborate with various business partners for a variety of program controllership and FP& A activities such as upholding accurate accrual models and appropriate accounting, as well as true-up activities. Also answer queries from business, area and subsidiary controllers

Supervise reporting, forecasting, and budgeting processes and tools for the accountable programs Requirements - Exemplary knowledge in office and accounting computer systems

Background working with financial reporting

General familiarity with Microsoft Excel

Foreign Currency experience

Foundational knowledge in Financial Statement

Corporate Consolidation experience required

Adeptness in Foreign Currency Translation

Practical knowledge of Financial Close Process

Comprehensive knowledge of consolidations

Deep understanding of Consolidated Financial Statements

Monthly Financial Close experience highly preferred

Demonstrated knowledge of Fusion

Prior background in engaging virtually with teams around the globe and providing leadership across finance teams

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or other relevant field

CPA and/or CMA preferred

Good understanding of ERP system is highly valued

Implement and improve changes in procedures immediately

5+ years professional accounting and controllership or public accounting and internal controls experience and/or Internal Audit or Controls and Compliance

Excellent analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills

Outstanding communication and negotiation skills with experience building trusted advisor/consultant relationships and aptitude for influencing Executives and Business Decision Makers
