What You'll Do as a Framing Carpenter:
Read blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions
Shape or cut materials to specified measurements
Lift and carry heavy objects, such as framing lumber, sheets of plywood, and other building materials
Perform a variety of production tasks on job sites, including job site clean-up and fixture replacement
Utilize company technology to update job information and photos
Remove damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repair or replace
Install structures or fixtures, such as roof trusses, plywood sheeting, windows, doors, framing, headers, and blocking using carpenters' hand and power tools
Work efficiently 8+ feet above the ground
Work mainly outdoors, in unconditioned spaces, year round
What it takes (requirements):
5+ years in residential construction
Reliable transportation
Own tools
Current, valid Driver's License
Ability to obtain and maintain a Class E Driver's License within 30 days
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
