Our unique platform reduces required site visits or truck rolls, speeds-up trouble resolution, and identifies wide-area network issues before they become a problem.We are growing and looking for new employees like you!SUMMARYNUSO is looking for anAssistant Controller.This position could be local to the St. Louis Headquarters or fully Remote. The Assistant Controller reports directly to the Controller. This includes collaborating with a team of finance and accounting professionals dedicated to maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with regulations.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Assist in managing day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.

Support the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for management review.

Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and internal controls.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency within the accounting department including documentation of policies and procedures.

Conduct research to resolve discrepancies and provide analytical support for decision-making.

Assist with audits and regulatory reviews, providing necessary documentation and responses to inquiries.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial initiatives and strategic projects.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and best practices.

Other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree (B.A., B.S.) in accounting from a four-year college or university.

CPA Required.

Experience

2-4 years public accounting experience.

Strong understanding of GAAP and regulatory compliance.

Proficiency in accounting software; experience with ERP systems (NetSuite) is a plus.

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
