Accounting Manager

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Manager in Saint Louis, Missouri. This role is in the financial industry and will require you to manage and oversee various accounting functions, interact with various software systems, and ensure efficient operation of the workplace. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes Manage and supervise the work of the accounting department Use accounting software systems like BlackLine, Concur, and ADP - Financial Services to streamline processes Work closely with the team to manage financial planning and budgeting processes Conduct regular audits and implement improvements to internal processes Prepare and present financial reports and risk analysis Ensure compliance with state and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings Oversee asset inventory and month-end reporting Collaborate with team members to support overall department goals and objectives Manage and track the performance of invested assets in line with company's policies and investment goals.
