Aerotek is currently seeking candidates with any level of MIG welding experience for a long-term career with a manufacturing company in Southern Illinois. No formal welding certification/education is required.Job Description
Responsible for various types of weld preparation, welding, and weld finishing operations to manufacture products to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction.
Utilize welding equipment to make repairs to discontinuities of submerged arc weld seams on steel pipe.
In addition to welding tasks, responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and organizing the work area.
Hard Skills
Heavy duty welding with 2, 3 and 4g positions
Mig and fluxcore welding on Mild, carbon, and stainless steel
Dual shield Welding experience required
Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Saint Charles, Missouri.Work Environment
Non-climate controlled, industrial setting.
Work shifts available include Monday-Thursday (Overtime on Friday & Saturday as needed. ) from 5am-3:30pm and 3pm-1:30am, and weekend shifts from 5am-5:30pm with compensation for 40 hours despite working 36 hoursAbout Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
