Part-time Park Maintenance

PART-TIME PARK MAINTENANCE WORKER / PARKS DEPARTMENTJOB DESCRIPTION:The purpose of this position is to performs park maintenance such as mowing and trimming grass, picking up debris, emptying waste receptacles, removing dead and/or dying trees, repairing trails, and cleaning public buildings.May operate and maintain a variety of park maintenance equipment such as tractors, trucks, mowers and light utility vehicles.Assist with routine maintenance of park structures and fixtures such as pavilions, playground equipment, picnic tables, and restroom facilities.Work may include painting and trail repair. Inspects grounds, fixtures and facilities to ensure the safety and well-being of the public.Checks playgrounds and recreational areas for appearance and possible safety hazards.Performs other duties as assigned.
