SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Systems Administrator contributes to the stability, efficiency, and security or server storage infrastructure
through expertise in on-premises and cloud storage administration by working across departments to manage
storage resources, provide technical assistance to various departments, and safeguard sensitive information.
Provide technical support, repair, routine maintenance, and lifecycle management for hardware and software,
including but not limited to servers, switches, routers, VMware hosts, vSAN, ESXi, vCenter, Microsoft M365
(including Active Directory and Azure Active Directory, and all M365 environment services, various Microsoft
Windows servers, LAN and WAN equipment, personal computing devices, etc.OUTCOMES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned)
On-premises and cloud server storage administration, including configuration, performance
monitoring, and maintenance of bank systems.
Provide technical support through an understanding of technical requirements, working closely with
stakeholders to address issues and optimize storage solutions.
Assist in information security projects to help maintain robust storage solutions, ensuring compliance
with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Proactively identify and resolve storage-related performance bottlenecks or potential risks,
continuously enhancing efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of storage configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting
steps to support decision-making and efficiency as the business scales.
Communicate clearly and succinctly with others, breaking down technical information into easy-tounderstand language.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams presenting a positive attitude and a win-win approach to
problem-solving, doing the work alongside and in cooperation with other team members to achieve
desired outcomes.QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Able to perform all responsibilities and tasks of the Technology Support Representative.
Associate degree and two to three years related experience and/or training, ability to maintain
industry standard certifications and licensures needed as technology solutions change.
Or equivalent combination of education and experience.REQUIRED SKILLS
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as sometimes required to complete a project.
Reading and interpreting various documents and policies, writing reports, and communicating
effectively and appropriately with colleagues and customers.
Strong fundamental mathematical skills and attention to detail.
Problem solving and troubleshooting practical problems.
Ability to learn new tools and equipment at a fast pace, willingness to pursue and maintain industry
certifications and licensures including but not limited to CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+,
Microsoft Azure Administrator, other Microsoft certifications to support Windows Servers and services.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
