Job Description SummaryAs a Principal Product Manager of Data & ML Platform at GEHealthCare, you’ll support the Command Center product with a focus on data infrastructure, analytics infrastructure and tooling and AI/ML platform. Command Center helps hospitals and health systems care for patients more efficiently, effectively and with higher quality. It coordinates scattered healthcare data, complex protocols, and siloed care teams and offers a real-time decision and collaboration platform at the patient, unit, department, health system and regional level. As result, health systems unlock capacity, improve length of stay, and create a predictable patient flow.As a Principal Product Manager, you will help the Command Center define and deliver on its next generation data and ML infrastructure that is the core platform from which all applications are built and both product and services value is derived. Because Command Center is used by so many health systems in the U.S and worldwide, you will be in a unique position to advance the future of operational and clinical innovation which depends on access to vast amounts of structured and unstructured data as well as the most advanced AIML techniques such as generative AI. You’ll have the opportunity to engage with cross functional technical teams across GEHC, customer facing field teams and analysts, as well as the customers to deeply understand how we design the data & ML platform can drive better value creation.This role is part of GEHealthCare’s Science & Technology Organization (STO). Deeply understand the Command Center product and its customers, workflows and pain points and how data enables this

Deeply understand the services teams analytic pain points, processes, and desired future state and how data enables this

Deep understand the Command Center architecture and technology, translating and creating a roadmap from current state to future state based on customer and services requirements

Own the product data and ML infrastructure requirements, roadmap, and priorities

Translate business and customer requirements into technical priorities and roadmap

Partner with engineering leadership within the Command Center team and with centralized tech services to create an aligned roadmap forward

Drive cross functional role, ownership, and scope clarity

Coordinate across technical teams towards execution and delivery of roadmap

Explore new analytics use case ideas and inform product strategy and roadmap for data, analytics and AI/ML

Do all the things you’d expect from a product manager, like driving planning, prioritization, defining requirements, and collaborating across engineering, data science, UX, sales, marketing, etc.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree

8 years industry experience

5 years product management experience

Experience with healthcare / hospital data and analytics

Experience with data infrastructure / platform / back-end

Experience working with agile development teams

Experience defining product requirements and using data and metrics to determine outcomes

Desired Qualifications:

B2B healthcare product experience

Experience with AI/ML

Experience with data visualization, reporting and BI tooling

BS in Computer Science or related technical degree

Eligibility Requirements:

The ability to travel 50-60%

It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
