THE POSITION:

Location: O'Fallon, MO.

Hours: 9:45PM-6:45AM 7 days a week. Other hours may include days, evenings, nights and weekends. Full time, part time and PRN shifts available

Case Details: Various ages of children ages birth thru 30+years old with technologies that might include g-tube, trach and ventilator.

Responsibilities

Assists in developing, reviewing, and revising the plan of care.

Provides nursing care as authorized by client's payer source, in accordance with physician's plan of treatment and individual plan of care.

Observes, records, and reports reactions to treatment and any changes in client's condition to appropriate personnel and/or physician.

Provides ongoing instruction and supervision of client, family, or other health team personnel in the plan of treatment.

Monitors and records patient's condition and documents provided care services via electronic charting.

Participates in education programs, quality assessment activities, nurse's meetings, and other staff meetings as required.

Requirements

Active Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse License

Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task

Excellent Communication Skills

Positive, Professional attitude
