Job Description
The Business Performance Management team within the Health Office is hiring a Data Analyst II. As a Data Analyst II, you will be responsible for analyzing, preparing, and processing data sets to be consumed for direct insights, statistical modeling, or other analytical exploration for multiple areas within the Health Office. Additionally, you will access and combine data sets from various sources to create visualizations, communicate trends, provide actionable business insights and recommendations to Health Office leadership, help define business objectives, as well as collaborate on performance improvement initiatives. We are looking for motivated candidates with experience using basic SQL queries, Excel, and Power BI. Working Environment Hybrid or Remote This position offers a Hybrid or Remote working environment. Meaning if you live within a metro area of a Cerner office, you will split working time between a Cerner office and remote. If you are not within a metro area of a Cerner office, you can live and work in your current geographical location and work primarily remote. #LI-Hybrid #RemoteQualifications Basic Qualifications- At least 6 years of total combined related work experience and completed higher education including:
- At least 1 year of data analytics and/or statistics work experience, including experience in quantitative or statistical analysis, data mining, predictive or statistical modeling, applied programming, data management, data transformation, data visualization and/or quantitative or statistical research
- At least 5 years of additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education, including:
- Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Analytics, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related field of study
- At least 1 year of experience using PowerBI
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
- Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned
