Job Description
As a Data Analyst II in Cerner Government Services you will access and compile complex data sets from various sources for exploratory and pre-defined analyses. You will audit complex data sets for completeness, validity, and other pertinent data health measures. This role will allow you to evaluate complex data sets for analytical possibilities and pitfalls with some assistance. In scope for this role will be to transform complex data with some assistance for specific team functions or processes as appropriate as well as conduct basic statistical testing and exploratory data analysis. You will create basic data visualizations leveraging design and data presentation guides and consult with stakeholders or clients on data availability and quality and outcomes of analysis. Finally, you will pinpoint trends, correlations and patterns in complex data sets with some assistance. Working Environment Hybrid or Remote This position offers a Hybrid or Remote working environment. Meaning if you live within a metro area of a Cerner office, you will split working time between a Cerner office and remote. If you are not within a metro area of a Cerner office, you can live and work in your current geographical location and work primarily remote. #LI-Hybrid #RemoteQualifications Basic Qualification:- At least 6 years of total combined related work experience and completed higher education including:
- At least 1 years of data analytics and/or statistics work experience, including experience in quantitative or statistical analysis, data mining, predictive or statistical modeling, applied programming, data management, data transformation, data visualization and/or quantitative or statistical research work experience
- At least 5 years of additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education
- Bachelor's in Actuarial Science, Analytics, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics
- Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
- Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen
- Analytics/Reporting background
- Experience with BMC Remedy, Power BI and SQL query
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to an already virtually approved location; preferred location is the Kansas City area
- Must be willing to travel up to 5% as needed
- Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned
