Description An industry leading company in the Minneapolis Twin Cities area is hiring for an Accounts Payable team member. THis company prides themselves on fostering a collaborative and supportive work culture where every team member plays a vital role in our success.Your Role:As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be a key member of our finance team, responsible for managing the company's outgoing payments in a timely and accurate manner. Your primary duties will include:
Processing invoices and expense reports
Verifying and reconciling invoices with purchase orders and receipts
Ensuring proper coding and approval of invoices
Communicating with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies
Generating payments and maintaining accurate records
Assisting with month-end closing activities as needed
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
2+ years of experience in accounts payable or similar role
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
