MTM is hiring a Vendor Recruitment Supervisor. The ideal candidate would live around the St.Louis area and be able to work hybrid in our Lake St.Louis office twice a week. May require some overnight travel.What Will Your Job Look Like?The Supervisor, Vendor Recruitment is responsible for the Leadership and Process oversight for the recruitment and onboarding of all Transportation Providers (TP). The Supervisor, Vendor Recruitment will drive the development and day-to-day execution of the recruitment team. This position does involve supervision of direct reports.What Youll Do:
Provide guidance and coaching to direct reports
Find and contract with third party transportation vendors throughout the country
Source vendor leads through multiple channels job boards, internet searches, social media, industry databases etc.
Place outbound cold and warm lead calls to potential vendors
Place, manage and maintain ads for vendor leads
Ensure TP numbers are met for implementations prior to go live, and help support areas that are suffering deficiencies
Promote and deliver positive customer service throughout the organization and to our TPs and Clients
Negotiate pricing and fleet dedication with vendors
Audit accuracy of the data from Salesforce
Report regularly on recruitment activity and progress towards recruitment goals
Provide onsite support during implementation and plan expansions
Work with vendors to provide needed onboarding documentation
Maintain vendor recruitment leads in tracking system
Additional duties as assigned
Act as a brand ambassador for the company
Ability to influence others in a positive impactful way
Utilize project management skills to define and meet project deadlines
What Youll need:
High School Diploma or G.E.D
Bachelors degree or an equivalent amount of relevant experience required
3 years of experience as a recruiter either in full life cycle recruitment, sales, logistics, operations, or contract negotiation
Experience with price negotiation
Previous experience supervising a team
Intermediate level of proficiency or above with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Demonstrate sound judgment and decision-making skills
Must be a team player who thrives in a collaborative work environment
Strong focus on customers, accountability, teamwork, collaboration and decisiveness
Excellent customer orientation, interpersonal and communication skills with strong follow through
Must demonstrate a high level of professionalism and customer service
