We are looking for a Diesel Mechanic for our Kirksville, MO Terminal.Job Type: Full-timeWork Schedule: Monday through FridayJob DescriptionDiagnose potential vehicle and equipment malfunctionsPerform necessary repairs to vehicles and equipmentDetermine needed repairs and/or replacements of vehicles and equipmentExecute preventative maintenance programs as well as safety inspections for vehicles and equipmentAssist with road calls and emergency services as necessaryMaintain tools, equipment, and shop areaAdhere to Ecco Ride standards, policies, and proceduresPrepare documentation regarding information to comply with regulatory guidelines, vehicle and equipment systems/components repairs, etc.Inspect vehicles using standard guidelines and ensure conformance to Mississippi Highway Patrol standards and Mississippi Department of Educations standardsAlways a focus on safetyPerform other responsibilities as requested or requiredMinimum Job Qualifications or you can title Educational/Experience Qualifications2+ years of automotive or diesel repair experience requiredAppropriate mechanics toolsetASE Certification preferredAbility to work independently as well as part of a team
