While we build a travel team based out of Lenexa, KS we are looking to add a National Apartment Maintenance Supervisor to manage & travel with this crew!
This position would entail travel throughout the Midwest for Monarch to assist at our apartment communities in several states. 80% travel is to be expected (a portion of this work will be around Kansas City area).
PAY:
We pay up to $65,000/Year plus we offer additional per day/per diem on travel days, a company vehicle and cell phone, travel accommodations, 2 weeks on/1 week off schedule, offer $40/month Blue Cross health benefits, the chance for 2 raises in the first year, a 401k matching at 3%, paid holidays, paid travel and a fun & enjoyable culture!
SCHEDULE:
2 weeks on / 1 week off
1st week is M-Sat with Sunday off, 2nd week is M-F, then you come home for a FULL WEEK OFF!

Job Duties:
-Regularly conducts inspections and evaluates work areas, dispersing follow up / action items to the appropriate team members or supervisors as needed (curb appeal, shops, major equipment inventory/inspection, turn boards, work order reports, property management practices, etc.)
-Diagnoses problems and makes repairs including but not limited to: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, and dry walling
-Assists with property operations as needed, including but not limited to: completing structural maintenance (internal and external), turning units, completing work orders, assisting with grounds/curb appeal, snow removal and pool maintenance as needed
-Paints and stains, both interior and exterior applications
-Maintains inventory control, including but not limited to: coordinating the purchase/organization of bulk items and equipment as needed, and maintaining clean, organized work/project areas
-Leads and ensures timely completion of capital projects, including but not limited to rehabs and major repairs
-Manage 3rd party vendors, including but not limited to gathering 3 bids per project and evaluating to ensure best value
-Actively supports and fosters an environment encouraging employee development
Requirements:
-HVAC and/or EPA certification(s) required
-CPO, Boiler, and OSHA certification(s) preferred
-At least 3 years in multi-family housing maintenance
-Experience Supervising maintenance for 500+ units
-Experience Supervising employees
-High-level knowledge of maintenance budgets, including reading, managing, and creating
-A valid driver's license is required
Skills needed:
-Dry walling, including painting and carpentry
-Plumbing, including sweating copper pipe
-Electrical, including outlets, switches, and light fixtures
-Troubleshooting appliance problems, including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers and garbage disposals
-HVAC and/or boiler systems
-Water heaters, both electric and gas
