About the Company

Sanctum Security is a rapidly growing security company with locations in IA, MO, KS, and soon NE and CO.

We supply both residential and commercial security systems (access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection), from small DIY homeowner systems to large business-scale solutions.

We are entering the MO home security market with both nationally-recognized brands and our own systems, and we need YOU to sell them!

About the position

For this position, you will have the ability to sell both home security and business security systems. Both types give you a great return, but the approach will be slightly different.

For home security systems, door-to-door sales is still the most reliable way to sell. At $400 to $600 per installed sale, this is a great way to spend several days a week!

For business security systems, cold calling, emailing, and teaming up with realtors is usually the preferred method. Typically, these systems gross you a higher commission because they are often larger and more complex, so this is your long game.

About our team

We are looking for someone with the following qualities:

- Self-motivated (clear drive to succeed)

- Able to understand the very basics of a security system, enough to answer common questions from customers

- Able to take basic system and company info and pitch it your own way! (We won’t script every single word you say - we want you to communicate the right info the way you do it best.)

- Willingness to consider customers and/or areas that our research team has identified as “best bang for your buck,” along with willingness to do your own research and target what you do best. (We understand that a research team isn’t always as good as “boots on the ground.”)

- Have transportation to the relevant city or regional areas

- Able to walk for 6-8 hrs (with self-determined breaks) to canvass neighborhoods

- Able to make phone calls or attend conferences (especially if you wish to pursue this position in the winter as well)

- Submit sales opportunities that cost money for approval (e.g., home and garden shows, conferences, new construction showings, etc. that may have an entrance fee. You could pay this yourself, but if it looks good, we could also get you in the door.)

- If you have your own existing customer network to leverage, that you built from other pursuits, all the better!

Compensation details

- From $400 to $1200 and up per sale (ability to sell both residential and commercial systems, which can range in size and scope)

- 100% commission, with a scaled compensation plan according to volume

- Meet or exceed company sales targets and scale at will

- Job Type: Contract

Pay: $4,200.00 - $7,400.00 per month
